The E5RICAT is a compact and efficient recessed remodel housing optimized and listed for EISA compliant tungsten-Halogen lamps, as well as Incandescent, CFL and LED lamps. Housing is suitable for residential or light commercial applications. For installation in insulated ceilings and non-insulated ceilings with airtight code compliant construction. Use with a variety of trims and finishes to create different lighting effects or to match any decor. May be retrofit with compatible Halo LED lighting systems.

• Can be installed from below the ceiling in home remodel applications, ideal for those who have limited or no access to their ceiling
• Insulation contact rated: Designed for insulated ceilings where contact is necessary
• Air-Tite rated design meets restricted air flow code requirements which prevents airflow between attic and living areas and saves on both heating and air conditioning costs
• Exclusive remodel speed clamps securely lock from 3/8 in. to 2 in. ceilings eliminating the struggle often experienced with recessed housing clips
• Compatible with a wide variety of 5 inch Recessed light trims but is best with Halo 5071, 5070, 5054, 5051, 5021, 5020, 5016, 5001, 5000 series models
• Compatible with a wide variety of 5 inch LED retrofit trims but is best with Halo quality RL, RA, SLD, LT, SMD, and ML series models (Bulb free with some having a 45 year LED lifespan)
• Slide-N-Side Junction Box: connectors allow non-metallic sheathed cable for both U.S. and Canada to be installed without tools
• High performance E26 Series 5 inch trim options available
• Socket bracket adjusts lamp to various trim styles and designs
• Three Quick Connect connectors eliminate the need for separate wire nuts - simply strip supply wires and push in
